Terms and Condition

1. Bookings will only be considered confirmed on receipt of a 20% deposit. This must be paid within 10 days of making your booking. The final balance is due 12 weeks before arrival.

2. In the event of you having to cancel your holiday your deposit is not refundable. If you have paid in full the balance will be returned. No monies will be refunded if the holiday is cancelled less than 12 weeks before arrival.

3. We reserve the right to withdraw the use of facilities for maintenance etc with no prior notice, no refund will be offered in this case.

4. In exceptional circumstance (eg. fire, flood etc) we reserve the right to cancel your holiday up to the day before arrival. In this case all monies paid to us will be refunded.

5. We will not offer any refund in the event of missed or cancelled ferry crossings or flights, road closures, strike action, adverse weather or acts of terrorism. We will be happy to co-operate with your travel insurance company should you place a claim.

6. If a Yurt is booked a damage deposit of €200 is payable with the final balance. This is to be paid in the form of a post dated cheque for the day of your departure. This is returned to you on departure unless deductions for wilful damages is necessary. Natural wear and tear and accidental breakage of crockery etc is not considered to be damage and your deposit will still be refunded. Examples of damage include structural damage to yurt such as broken roof poles.

7. You are responsible for ensuring that you have adequate travel insurance in place and that it starts in good time to cover you in the event of cancellations and travel delays.

8. By booking with Le Chêne Vert you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
